Kythnos

Kythnos is the first island of the line of the West Cyclades, in Greece. Is located between Kea and Serifo. The island's distance from Piraeus port is 52 nautical miles and distance from Laurio port is 22 nautical miles. The port is at Merichas.

Chora, the capital of the island, is characterized by the authentic island architecture with white houses with beautiful bougainvillea that thrive in courtyards, cobbled streets, churches and the wonderful view to the endless blue of Aegean sea.

The island of Kythnos has to present a rich cultural history and folklore, with many monuments and settlements testify to the remarkable growth both in antiquity and in modern course. At the same time, remarkable customs have their roots deep in time and maintain the tradition of the place.
