Sifnos is located between the islands of Kimolos, Serifos, Paros and Milos, in Greece. The island's distance from Piraeus port is 75 nautical miles. The port is at Kamares.

Chora (Apollonia or Stauri), the capital of the island, is characterized by the authentic island architecture with white houses, the flat roofs (in order to collect the valuable rainwater in cisterns), the “flaros” (earthen chimney covers on the rooftops), beautiful bougainvillea that thrive in courtyards, cobbled streets, churches and the wonderful view to the endless blue of Aegean sea.

The island of Sifnos has to present a rich cultural history and folklore, with many monuments and settlements testify to the remarkable growth both in antiquity and in modern course. At the same time, remarkable customs have their roots deep in time and maintain the tradition of the place.

The natural beauty of Sifnos island is an attraction for hikers. Traditional mule paths, some dating from Classical times, criss-cross the island and open up unexpected views of the magnificent landscape. They lead to lonely beaches, remote mountain scenery, secret valleys and many unspoiled hamlets.

Sifnos has many beautiful beaches to satisfy even the most demanding visitor. Other are sandy, pebble others, others are rocky coastline, but all have turquoise clear water that you can not resist their charm.
